| Reef Lobster | denros I went to the lfs today to pick up some astreas, I'm not sure why, I guess my hermits look hungry. They had a colony of dendros that had 25+ polyps. They were the yellow and orange ones. The price marked was 395, I offered 275 and they said the lowest they would go was 300, cash out the door. I left them there, do you guys think I should pick them up? I already have a fairly large colony of suns, so that color is already in my tank. The dendros looked really healthy, so they must have just got them. That lfs kills tubastrea like it's a sport, so I'm afraid if I wait a few weeks the dendros will be dead. bill |

| Reef Lobster | Re: denros yeah, sorry about that, dendrophyllia. I would love to keep dendronepthya, but I don't have the setup now. In the future I want to setup a 55 gal with a constant food supply and all the fun stuff that goes along with that, but not now. I'm operating under the assumption that the husbandry of dendrophyllia is the same as for my tubastrea. I've had great success with both black and orange sun coral. I did some looking around online, and I'm thinking maybe I should go pick em up. The cheapest I can find is 25 bucks a head. bill |

| Reef Lobster | Re: denros hmm, if they are just sun corals, then they are the biggest ones I've ever seen. the polyps were almost as big as my duncans. I'd say silver dollar size, and they were more transparent than my suns are. Have you seen them for sale at a better price? |
