| Serpent Star | Skimmer pump is acting weird.... This setup is less than a week old. I am running an ASM Mini G protein skimmer. The pump that this thing came with is going on and off on and off over and over. So, I took the pump apart to check everything and it looks fine. I test it ih the sink. Once again fine. When I put it back in my sump, on and off on and off. I think I may need to call customer service and order a new pump. |

| NaClH2O Addicted   | Re: Skimmer pump is acting weird.... A friend of mine bought one of the newer models and returned it as the pump wasn't working. Supposedly the newer models have a different pump than the old models, and it's been very prone to early failure. If you haven't done it call customer service.
