| Tubeworm | a few questions what are some good powerheads that i could use in my 90 gallon sps reef? i was thinking two seio 1500's and one or two maxi jet 1200's also, what does everyone think about the green mandarin? i know they have a high fatality rate but there seem to be a good amount of people who successfully keep them. i will have a 20 gallon diy sump/refugium to satisfy their need for copepods but there will also be a leopard wrasse in my display so will there be a fight for copepods? anyone have any advice?

| Manta Ray ![]() | Re: a few questions first off: great avatar. i am so happy its finally football season again and my Brady jersey is getting dryh cleaned as we speak. onto your question, in my tank i have 2 main powerheads, a koralia 3 & 4 and they provide lots of flow. I have heard great things about the maxijet's and their new mods also. sorry, i have not had a mandarin, but i know they need lots of pods and can be tough to get to eat |

| Midas Blenny | Re: a few questions A lot of people are using Koralia powerheads there fully adjustable and it has a magnet that goes on the outside of the tank to hold it up. Heres a link to one. Hope this helps Water Pumps & Wavemakers: Hydor Koralia Water Circulation Pumps Kevin |

| Tubeworm | Re: a few questions the koralias look like there pretty popular. i really like the magnets instead of the suction cups and they have a sleek look to them. im definetly going to go with the koralias. how many should i use? and which models should i use? and im still looking for mandarin expiriences and info. so anything would be great! Thanks everyone! ![]()

| Sunshine Reefer ![]() | Re: a few questions If you are going to add a mandarin in with the wrasse and a stocked tank you should try to train the mandarin to eat prepared foods. Here is an article from someone who has done it with some great ideas. Melevsreef.com - Melev's Mandarin Diner
