ASM G-4 Question

My current skimmer is costing me $50/mo!!!!! thinking about going the ASM route. do you guys think it'll be as amazing as my ETSS600??? I love this thing but its just costing to much to run.

with ASM, would I have to wait for days before seeing any foam?
will there be days when it doesn't do anything all day?
If I TO or stick my hand in the tank, will it stop working for minutes? or hours?
can it be modded by adding one more Sedra 5000?
Can the G-4 handle 420 gallons?
can it be modded into an external skimmer?

anyone have a photo of the ASM in action?

Well I can't even address all of them but I can tell you my experience with mine.
I have never had a day without foam after the break-in period.
I have not had a problem with putting hands in the tank etc.
I don't know anything about mods since I have never tried. I don't know how you would make it external but who knows what a creative DIY person could do.
I'll try to get some pics of vid ob mine later today.
I have no idea how it would work on a 420. I overskim in a big way and have it on my 125. It is way too big for my setup but I love it,
