| Fire Coral | Heh ![]() They don't call them clownfish for nothing. Anything they do is "normal" behaviour if they aren't sick. My clowns (A. Ocellaris) sleep beside their Crocea clam host. The male cuddling the side, the female upside down and sideways in a hollow in the LR beside the clam. Other times you see my male (after he's been run off by the female) sitting with his head poking out a hole that's just big enough for him. I'm guessing he must access it from the back because it is just not big enough for him to get turned around in there. They're also next to impossible to photograph doing their "wierd" things because whenever myself or hubby go near the tank they immediately come to the glass to say hellow and bat their little fishy eyes at us begging to be fed. And our Scooter Dragonet is worse! I'm thinking it's almost time to grab a book and a drink and sit with them for a couple days again. Clowns are great and chances are you're going to see wierder behaviour from your Clarkii in the time to come. Alexis

| Neon dottyback | Well, I've named him Snoopy, and his little yellow tailed damsel pal Woodstock. They both act like it. They constantly interact with each other with equally bizarre behavior! The Damsel thinks it's a Goby (sticking out of holes). And Snoopy sits on top of the live rock like the real Snoopy on top of his dog house! They also follow each other around nearly constantly. So, it's quite a show! ![]()
