| Mh/pc Hood Well came home from work today and the fed ex guy pulled up right behind me ! I was like so excited cause I knew he had my lights!! Well I purchased an Hamilton 36" acrylic MH(175w 10,000k ushio)/PC(2x96w actinic) black combo hood. When I ordered they didn't have the stock hoods so they upgraded me to acrylic for free (30 dollar value) so I am happy about that.Well all I need is some LR and LS and I can start my tank. I hate having all this gear just sitting there waiting for something. Anyways just wanted to express my happiness Have a great day Tony

| Reef Shark ![]() | Shipping from California to N.C. would be outrageous. You could probably buy fresh rock for just a little more than what it would cost for me to ship to you, since the major rock sellers get pretty good prices on shipping. Wow, I just checked shipping. Fed-Ex overnite for 55 lbs would be $from $159 to $175., 2nd day would be $125. I think you can ger 45 lb boxes of live rock shipped for under $200. Last edited by BoomerD : 04-07-2004 at 05:03 PM. |

| Achilles Tang ![]() | Does the hood have a glass cover between the lights and the waters surface? If not I would recommend 7-10 inches from the waters surface. My 400Ws are 11 inch. Good luck and look forward to seeing the tank up
