| Tubeworm | After much thought and discussion with many aquarists, I've decided on my final layout for my new tanks circulation. I'm going to go with a bigger return pump split into two return lines each with two outputs. One will be a constant stream while the other line will run through a SCWD unit. The constant return lines will be located in the top of each corner. My closed loop system will now only run one pump with a SCWD unit with each return being split into two. here is the diagram: Please can i get your comments etc. Thanks. |

| Tubeworm | Well as my luck would have it, I've run into more problems with my new tank. I'm going to basically get the sucka built from scratch, which in itself isn't a bad thing, just going to cost me more cash. Going the best route as for as doing this as economical as possible ( I have 4/5 of a tank at the moment, no front glass yet) this is what I've come up with. I'm going to install my closed loop intakes in the 'new' external overflow box. This will also allow me to attach prefilter to the intakes because this CLS is going through a SCWD. The water level will be controlled inside the overflow box via stand pipes and valves as suggested by Mojoreef. The drawing is to scale. What do you think? |
