Re: weird puff of wight stuff!!!

Lots of ideas.... it could be any number of "Rock Dwelling" animals either :

A) Spawning (not that often I wouldn't think)
B) discarding "poo" from a meal
C) Space Aliens sending out hidden signals

My vote is for (B) and I see it almost daily. It helps that one of my tanks is sitting but a foot from my face here for 9+ hours a day.

Nitrate (NO3) reduction is directly proportional to percentage of Water Change.
Allen's home-made formula...currentNO3-((%WC*.01)currentNO3)=finalNO3 (thanks Luukosian)
This means if you change 50% of your total water volume (That's EVERYTHING) you'll get a net reduction of (NO3) somewhere around 50%.

Ask me about how to increase your REEF budget without going without FOOD!!

Live rock has TONS of organisms that you haven't seen and probably never will. There is a wealth of things living in every nook, cranny and pore of those rock. Some come out and some don't.

Nope I see it every single day. Some days more than others but it's fairly common

It could be a stomatella snail or I've had these spaghetti type worms do that too.

Re: wierd puff of white stuff!!!

There is money in it for sure.
Watchin...check your state bylaws that way you do not illegally sell them before they are fully weaned. I do not want to get involved in some stupid federal investigation if you get it wrong and send those pebbles my way before they are of age.
I got enough problems. lol
