| Tunicate | how do i cure dry base rock ? hi,, im going to be getting 40 kg of dry base rock this is for a new marine tank...how do i best cure the dry base rock ? how will i make it live ? will i need to add a bacterial supplement to help things along ? thanks Jon |

| Rabid Wolverine Reefer | Re: how do i cure dry base rock ? i would hose it off with a strong nozzle. dry rock has a lot of dirt and crude dried on it. how much? as much as you want to use in the tank. it will become biologically live in a month or so depending on how much LR you use and bioload of the tank. yes you can do it in tank,
