Re: Dehumidifier water as top off??

I don't think I would because I thought about this... I look at the dehumidifier pan and it gets "goop" in it really quick which I wouldn't want to introduce into the reef system. there is a new "Water System" that I am looking into as an investment that works off of this very principle for drinking water.

Live Rock Rubble will do the SAME thing as Bio-Balls and is NOT a suitable replacement for BIO-BALLS in a Reef System! It's ALL gotta go!!

Nitrate (NO3) reduction is directly proportional to percentage of Water Change.
Allen's home-made formula...(-NO3=WC%)
This means if you change 50% of your total water volume (That's EVERYTHING) you'll get a net reduction of (NO3) somewhere around 50%.

Ask me about how to increase your REEF budget without going without FOOD!!

Yeah here is a link.
MyXziex.com - Atmospheric Water Generator - Offered by Travis Crisp Travis Crisp (a great friend of mine) is currently getting heavily involved in this product. I'm anxious to see what it does first hand. At one point during the "Product Over View" it even mentions it's suggested for *Aquaculture* and also *Aquarium water treatment*

I'm going to be watching this one closely. Go check it out and let's talk it over.

Yep that's correct. Did you check out the "Technical" stuff? It automatically recirculates the water every so often for re-filtering. Travis (my friend) feels this is an AWESOME product especially with how tight things are now. Almost FREE water is SWEET!!! Plus up here we're in a water shortage situation so if I can avoid putting 4 gallons down the drain in order to get 1 gallon (I'm making almost 40 gallons a week now) it's a WIN-WIN situation.

Check it out. Maybe the idea of Dehumidifier for Top Off isn't THAT bad of an idea
