T-5's / Power Compact question

Is there a difference in how fast Coraline grows with t-5's or power compacts opposed to halides? Has anyone had both halides and t-5's and noticed a difference? Just something thats been bothering me for a while. Thanks

I wouldnt think it matters.

We have PC lighting and tons of coraline. Just make sure your calcium levels are within range.

Different "Types" of coraline like different lights. Some coraline is a LOW LIGHT type and MH will actually cause it to die-off/recede but that is usually replaced over time with the appropriate type.

I have PC's in my tank here in the office and coraline is a HUGE bother here. For a while I "wished" For it now I just grit my teeth and scrape it off daily. Be careful what you wish for... you MAY end up getting it!!
