reef safe trigger?

Ive been looking around and it seems like the Blue Throat Trigger is a reef safe trigger. Does any one know if this is true or are stores trying to boost sales?

It is true they go good in pairs as well, the cross hatch, golden Back & the Hawain Black are reef safe as well

Re: reef safe trigger?

Maybe mine is a one in a million, butI have been keeping a Humu Rectangle with coral for a little while now. There could be a couple things working in my favor. One is that he may just be passive. Other might be that there is no real competition for space or food. I have a 75G with only him, a fox Lo, and 3 damsels. Now he will pick at a newly intro'd coral once or twice to get an idea of what it is, or if it is food or not.

Re: reef safe trigger?

I've got a 5" blue jaw trigger with a 3" yellow tang and a 4" yellow belly blue hippo tang and they all get along fine. The problem I've seen is for the small fish!!! 2" or less watch out!!!!!!!!
