Blue spot and yellowheaded gobie

Howdy folks
I have a yellowheaded sleeper goby that sifts the sand and is cute as they get. He is doing great. I also have a lawnmower blenny and some other assorted fish that I believe would have nothing to do with my question. I like those little blue spot characters they are funny. Can i have one please? Will they be alright with the sleeper and the blenny? Let me know.... Thanks

Re: Blue spot and yellowheaded gobie

Although I have never had this combination, I do own a BSJF and based on it's temperament and characteristics I don't see any problems with this combination. Lawnmovers are mainly herbivores and sleeper gobies sift sand for food. BSJF are water column feeders. All three feed differently, so no problems there. A BS will defend his burrow from intruders, but is rarely, if ever, aggressive otherwise.

Also, the size of the tank is a big factor. The smaller the tank, the more problems you are going to have with any combination of fish. For the combination that you describe, I would not recommend it in anything under 75 gallons.

Howdy, I just asked a similar question over in this thread

Compatibility question

The only difference is your lawnmower blenny and I was curious about the same combo only a redspotted blenny.

Good luck and keep us posted
