| Do I look as lost as I am   | Re: Pod Many times you get them on newly bought Live Rock, Live Sand and when you buy new frags and such. Also you can them from many online retailers (check out sponsors (AQTKJAC sells them I believe)) and also at your LFS. I've seen where local reefers will do a "Sand Swap" in which you go and exchange one cup of your sand for a cup from someone else's tank. That's good and also could be BAD if someone else has something bad in their tank but it would give diversity to your tank. Good luck

It's ALL gotta go!! Nitrate (NO3) reduction is directly proportional to percentage of Water Change. Allen's home-made formula...currentNO3-((%WC*.01)currentNO3)=finalNO3 (thanks Luukosian) This means if you change 50% of your total water volume (That's EVERYTHING) you'll get a net reduction of (NO3) somewhere around 50%.
