Well, it sure is an interesting looking coral... but one thing that always strikes me as funny about ebay auctions, is every specimen is 'rare' and 'expensive'.

Just like those 'rare' green and orange ricordia... though that frozen sebae anemone that was on a couple weeks ago definitely qualified as 'rare' in my book.

Looks like a nice specimen though... the gold with green is a nice combination.

My lfs has one of those, its really cool looking, He wants like $80-90 I think for it, and its about 4-5" across. If I can get in there tomorrow, I will let you know what he has it labeled as.

It doesn't look like acropora sp to me, looks more like pavona or something similar.

Definitely not a monti cap.

I agree with RR, most likely a pavona or perhaps pachyseris by the looks of it, but hard to say without a closer shot.
