Thanks for the links this will help me determine what will be best for my new "idea". LOL ideas always seem to turn into reality in this hobby don't they. What would you guys sugges for a 30 gal. I want to get VHO for sure, and am debating whether or not to get MH. I am leaning toward getting a MH just to be safe. Thanks

lol EK! That's jsut the first step.... then you have to figure out which wattage... then which type of bulb.... then which kelvin.... yikes! I'm going through the same thing myself... Good luck to us! hehe

I think I want to go with the Hamilton 10k, maybe 150 watter since it's only a 30 gallon.

shoot didn't even think of that. Back to the drwaing board. I was hoping not to use a ballast, just air power my lights. LOL
