Holy Crap!! Now I know why I have been loosing fish in this particular tank for a while...???

I was doing a little night searching last night and saw something in a little cave... Mantis Shrimp! It must have been a HH from over a year ago!!

He looks to be at least an inch and a half or bigger, I have not went hunting for him yet, all I would have to do is pull out his rock. But I need to make him a new home first...

Beautiful green color too!

What do I need to do to see him more? Once I relocate him? Should I take his rock home away from him?

some species just aint social.

but regular feedings, now that may get his attention, and stop him from eating your livestock

hello mr beezelbob. I was wondering if you could tell me about the red lobo that i see in your tank. I have one and it has never done well. does it need high light. and what fixture do you have? I keep mine in medium flow.?

The mantis I found looks like this:

There are all kinds of weird white egg looking things on the mantis shrimp I just found? Very weird?? Looks like eggs, but I did a google image search and mantis eggs seem red in those photo's...

The things on my shrimp look NOTHING like this photo:

The egg looking things are attached to the swimmerets on my mantis shrimp. (They are not circles, more like long oval shaped) and are very white...

Like 20 or 30 long white looking eggs.

ooooooooh boy! im very excited.

i called Jack on friday and ordered my New light.

UPS tracking says it'll be here on Wed.

By golly, im just elated with anticipation.

im gonna order 2 new daylight bulbs for it on fri. (still deciding betwen 12k and 14k)

then ill see what i want w/ the actinics

look at the analysis. I really liked what the AVI 12k's show. I'll have mine this week so you can see what they look like. I post a pic of just those bulbs turned on.
