She comes home from training in a couple of weeks. I'll give her a carrot then.
We purchased 5 acres just for the purpose of getting horses. I have to say, I love living out in the country it's definately a differnt lifestyle!

Horses are just the best! I had Quarter horses while a teenager... long, long ago and far, far away. I trained and showed cutting horses, too. That time was some of the best of my life. Don't let anyone tell you they are stoopid, they are so far from it!

My favorite was a dun filly named Sweet Caroline (nickname Dinky) that I bought when she was 1-1/2yrs. I trained her completely myself, and she was just a dream when I finally was able to get up on her when she was a bit over 2. We had a bond that you wouldn't believe. I still think about her just about every day! If I can find a picture of her I'll scan it and upload it.
