First i just got a super uber skimmer, that im waiting for AQTCJACK to send me.

im really stoked.

Right Now im really pushin the limits of bio-load, and i have a minor deitritus issues due to the lack of any sort of filter socks.

soo, im planning on figuring a way to remove the skimmer column from my current skilter, plumb the typhoone into it, and tie a filter sock off in there. then i can stir it all up, then remove the sock.

two birds with one stone if this works like it does in my head.

then ima going to invest in the MIGHTY MIGHT RO/DI system.

then lights.

this is all directed toward when my lease is up in august. when i move this tank, im going to scrap the tank and use it for a sump for the 30 gal AGA i have sitting in my back yard.

so within the next 6-9 months i want to go from a sumpless 18gallon to

a 30 gal, w/ 250-300 watts MH, a 18 gal sump, etc. good thing is i already have enought LR!

ROFLMAO! I remember doing that in college. Even better then the dryer sheets are pouches called FAB one shots. Dont even know if they are still made. Its a pouch with detergent and good smelling softener that you would throw in the wash. We would shove one of those bad boys into a paper towel tube.

he sat at the LFS for about 8 weeks while my tank cycled. i went in every week and bought him a hermit or a snail.

about 2 weeks after the cycle (after 2 weeks of 100% stable params), i went and picked him up

i really like putting a piece of frozen in my lil aqua clamp, and makin him fight for it.
