ok. thanks. but is it possible? last night i saw many little shrimp like invertebrates, and small sand fleas. are those things good to have?

they are mysid issf they are shrimp they coulds also be cods of sort. They are good to have

that is good! hey jack i see you own a store, would you recommend 50 micron or 100 micron filter socks to clean out small phosban particles?

you should rinse it prior dont rely on a filter sock to do it

i did rinse prior, but as stupid as i am, i ran my pump with a little to much flow, so it ground up some of the phosban

slow your pump to 90GPH use pantyhose to get the rest out
