first piece

Sup peeps,

Just about to purchase my first piece of coral, any suggestions?

I was wondering if like fish, some are hardier than others, would like to start off with something safe.

very easy and almost fool proof are mashrooms ...but to tell more what is good for you we have to know about your system......size, light, condition etc.

I have a 28 gallon bow. About 25-35 lbd of live rock
1 tomato clown, 1 yellow tang, 4 green chromis, 2 turbo snails, 1 sebae anenomie
Coralife lighting 130 watts total when both lights are on.
Tank has been fish only for over 1 year as I venture into the world of reef.

is there a place to find pics of dirrent corals and their names. Im not familiar with corals by name and will need visual asistance.

also how do u get your tank info under your post the way you have it

what are your water tests looking like? you have six fish in 29 gallons. i would imagine that being pretty hard to keep the water stable. you will find alot of helpful people and information here though.

sweet. When people refer to a clean up crew. are they reffering to packages like the below that i found on saltwaterfish.com and would you suggest such a large variety for a 28 gallon? thanks so much for your help. I am learning alot.

thanks for the tip roush,

Its hard for me to consider these lil chromis fish as they are so small but your are right. I was advised that they are happier in schools. MAybe I'll flush a few.lol

water tests are looking good. still working on nitrate levels but i am hoping my new skimmer helps.

DON'T flush helthy fish...return it to LFS or give away.... flush = big NO NO in your next life the might or to you...hehhehehhe

i do every 30 min / half cup of aquarium water for 3 hours and then....
