| Plate Coral | RO/DI in 5 gal salt buckets? I've been keeping RO/DI in 5 gal Instant Ocean salt buckets and Home Depot buckets for top off purposes. I use them to fill my 5 gal glass ATO tank once or twice a week so the RO/DI isn't sitting in them too long. I just wanted to make sure these are good storage containers for that purpose, I wouldn't want anything leaching into the water. The buckets have the #2 in the triangle arrows on the bottom which I think is supposed to be good according to this link but I just want to be sure. Lastly, if they are good for storing RO/DI, what is the longest it can be kept in them safely? Thanks!
