what size skimmer should i be using in my 200g tank??

IMO I would go for one rated for 30 gals and up.

i think the ASM G4xx will work for ya. or the G4 or G4+ or G4x

trikle filter? why are you using that? no need for it unless you are using for run carbon or something in.

Major improvement.
I would get the biggest and best that you can afford. I have an ASM G4+ on my 125 and absolutely love it. It's overkill for my tank so probably just about right for yours.
