| Harlequin Tuskfish | Re: Growth Identification Staurocladia oahuensis (Hydromedusae) Its a walking jellyfish. In the little research that ive done for the past couple of days are indicating that the recent moon activity has spurred them up for mating or somthing. theres been a couple threads pop up on here since the eclipse last week about these little guys. cool looking lil critters, specially when there on your glass and you can get a good look at them. | Do I look as lost as I am ![]() | Re: Growth Identification Yeah I've had them pop up like CRAZY in my 10g Frag tank. I hope someone or something in there is eating them and they aren't going to go into "Epidemic" mode!! ![]()
__________________ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Live Rock Rubble will do the SAME thing as Bio-Balls and is NOT a suitable replacement for BIO-BALLS in a Reef System! It's ALL gotta go!! Nitrate (NO3) reduction is directly proportional to percentage of Water Change. Allen's home-made formula...currentNO3-((%WC*.01)currentNO3)=finalNO3 (thanks Luukosian) This means if you change 50% of your total water volume (That's EVERYTHING) you'll get a net reduction of (NO3) somewhere around 50%. Ask me about how to increase your REEF budget without going without FOOD!!
