Are They Eating; Or Like Anorexic?

SOOOOOOOO, in an attempted hijack, my question was not answered.

so i take my issues here.

I cant get cyclopleeze in co. i guess i could order it. but havent.

what i DO get is cubes of frozen cyclops shrimp (CYCLOPS FROZEN FOOD - Fish Food - Other)

SOOO heres the gig.

i always here individuals raving about how much LPS love cyclopleeze.

when i feed my LPS like mysis and krill, you can like see them eating.

when i drop these frozen cubes in, everybody goes nuts, but its like hard to see if any of my LPS (other than my gonipora) are like eating them?

are they? i mean my acans, sun polyps, brains etc all open, but i just cant tell if they eat this stuff?

I prefer to think that they eat. Some you can actually see like the suns or palys.

i don't see it on mine but they are alive so it means they are eating somehow

well on mine the trumpet extend their polyps when I feed it, which if you've seen trumpet (I think everybody has some of this now) their polyps aren't extended all the time like froggies.

Sorry for the hijack, but see the "teeth" on the other heads? They extend WAY out when I cyclopeeze the tank. The froggie and other LPS don't really DO anything.

everybody opens up real quick. i mean, 1 cube in my 18 gal, is like almost too much.

thing is, i have my flow set up specially for my gonipora (its comes from underneath it, and like gently lifts its, umm "skirt")

Euphyllias can and will eat pretty hefty pieces of meaty food. They have oral discs and nematocysts in their tentacles. This would indicate that they are capable of capturing and devouring prey. Many times it is not seen because their tentacles obscure their oral disks. Check out these extraordinary photos of a frogspawn eating!

So when you put it in the tank, it gets distributed all around and doesn't just hit the bottom in frozen/semi-frozen chunks?

You should try to target feed them using a turkey baster or something. Also, I put just a little food in the water at first, then when everything opens up, I go back and target feed. You may want to try that.
