any idea what this coral is please

hello all . im after a bit of info. today someone give my son some coral as thay was closeing there tank to move. but im not sure what thay are. my son was told one is a ***** coral . but the other i dont know sorry i cant post a pic as i have no camra. but it looks like a finger coral and redish pink in couler with bumps on it . could it be a finger in that colour. is there a web site that will give me some info on ***** coral. meny thanks

Without any pics it is difficult to say. But it sounds like a carnation coral to me.

P***y coral is what the UK folks call a Colt coral. A relatively easy coral to keep.

I'm used to Colt referring to Cladiella sp aka finger leather corals. There are some photos on here...

Alcyoniids

Although it looks like it can refer to some nephtheids also, that's the trouble with common names...

Here's the nephtheids... In general, a bit harder to keep these.
