Ibelieve it is a type of acropora, but I'm not the SPS ID expert. Are those pale blue tips?

Isn't that a great photo! I dive alot, but I have never seen an Acropora ledge as beautiful as that!

Definetly an acro. Not much point ID'ing down to species except for fun.
I would just call it a staghorn acro.

I have an acro very similar. It's a slow thick growing Stag horn.

Great looking coral! If it were mine I would call it a "Blue tip Stag" (Acropora).

I just realized, I used to have one that was kinda sorta similar. I lost it in the red bug invasion of 2003. Big colony also

should i direct feed it along with LPS ?

warren, that is an amazing photo, where can i find that colony and how many frag plugs should i bring?

that was a good deal.and no need to direct feed,they get most of their nutritienal needs thrue the light,but some sps like rotifers

evil little yellow clown goby is hosting my first sps!!!
any harm in that? the coral is giving out some toxins similar to what comes out of my frogspawn when i feed it.

yours looks great mike, i will post another photo of mine next week when it has doubled in size
