| Midas Blenny | hmmm....any ideas ? I discovered these on my aquarium walls and there were quite a few of these in the filter when i cleaned it out....also they are on the live rock as well .....got any ideas as to what they are?.....the picture is not that clear but they are tube-like and at the ends have little strands that spread. They are white, almost clear. And the texture looks kind of weave-like. See the attachment... |

| Reef Lobster | Re: hmmm....any ideas ? More than likely a type of sponge. Can't be certain with the blurry photos. If your tank has been up and running for a while it may be sponge. If it is for sure, it is a good thing. They will help to filter the water. Try to post some better pictures, sometimes camers, especially point and shoot, have a hard time focusing on glass. Place something there for the camera to focus on. a piece of paper with a hole cut in it or a ruler will sometimes do the trick. |
