| Limpet | Wait period to use stain/sealed canopy Finished my DIY canopy. I stained and sealed it yesterday. Just want to know if there is a certain amount of time I should wait to use it. I don't want it to have any effect on the acrylic or livestock. |

| Plate Coral | Re: Wait period to use stain/sealed canopy I'm definitely no expert but I'd imagine that what ever amount of drying time is listed on the can would be sufficient. If you want to be safe you could add a day. Hopefully someone with a lot of wood-working experience will chime in. By the way, how about a pic of your finished project.

| Limpet | Re: Wait period to use stain/sealed canopy Thanks for the input. I haven't actually installed my T5 retros, but I'd like to use it now as we are having a Super Bowl Party. I was hoping to get the new lighting up and running, but I discovered I should take about a week to introduce the T5 to the livestock. I'll take pics tomorrow when the lighting and wiring is complete. |
