but, at lookin at it in a lil more detail, it looks ok, good even

Do yall think it'd perform better than my ghetto moded skilter?

or should one just hold out tfor the finacial freedom to get an Aqua C Nano?

That's about what it looks like to me...a variation of the Skilter. Personally, I'd wait for something better...

Go for it Bob! For $26.00 it's damn near disposable if it doesn't work. You'd be doing RS members a service by reporting your findings with this new nano skimmer.

I'm with Scott on this one. For that $$ you really OWE it to RS! Heck I'll even float you an "I.O.U" (frag or something later on... you just pay shipping) for buying it, trying it and then reporting on it. Can't beat that!!

I say junk, but I got burn't by an LFS on the skilter, so I am not fond of this design. Rio doesn't have a very good rep in the saltwater world either.. All though I did run a rio pump on my 55g for a return...So, it could be anyones guess, but it looks like the typical skilter/pyramid design. Neither one were very functional.

Vicki & I know this skimmer well. We first saw it alost a year ago @ the trade show for a distibuter I thought what the hell lets give it a try it wasnt worth the time effort etc
