Advice for tank manufacturers

Howdy. Brand new to the boards. I discovered this site in my search for knowledge to get back into the hobby after a 15 year hiatus, lol. What a great site this is.

I have about 10K to spend on a complete system. Although I will likely be seeking advice on all equipment, right now I need to chose a tank manufacturer. I'd really like to give the Starphire glass a go. I'm thinking either a 150 or a 180.

I am aware of Glass Cages and Aquarium Obsessed, but no others. Looking for opinions on these companies and hopefully any others, and hopefully from owners.

I'm also looking for a matching "furniture" quality stand and canopy, but the sump will likely not be in the stand.

Try Quality Custom Aquarium Manufacturer - Toronto Canada. I know a few folks with tanks from them and the product and service is excellent.

Yeah, but when you look at elos tanks, sometimes you find ways to increase your budget

Avoid Glasscages. I have never heard anything good and lots of bad.
The starfire glass is great.

hey u are in minnesota?where abouts im from coon rapids.we should get together sometime...are u in the reef club.their is a meating this sunday at something fishey in richfield at 6.

Thanks guys. Jack I sent you a PM. I might just go with the Oceanic starphire tank, but very open to suggestions. Looking for 6 ft lengthx25x25 or something similar.

Glasscages is a terrible company. I just got my new tank from Jack.
He uses a great manufacturer. The new tank I just got is crazy. Awesome seams, neat siliconing (not a word). Dont Rush getting a tank, and DO NOT GO CHEAP. ~Michael
