help!!!!!!!!

i have been doing big water changes. I got some r/o water from my lfs and i mixed the salt to high. I so i needed more r/o water. My question is if the water that i got is ok. The water is distilled it says it is filtered using reverse osmosis but also through some distillation processes. It says nothing about any added chemicals to the water. I think it should be fine but iam real hesitant in adding it.

Re: help!!!!!!!!

Steam distilled water is more pure than RO filtered water.

Re: help!!!!!!!!

The water refillers in publix and other grocery stores that refill the blue 5 gallon containers for water despensors are about 30 cents a gallon are some of the best r/o D/i water ive had and its cheep. Just make sure to read what kind of filtration it uses. It normaly says on the front or side.

Re: help!!!!!!!!

There's not much you can do to make steam distilled water more pure than it already is. I'd go with it.

i say this as my best advice to a beginner. do not,,,and i repeat,,,,,DO NOT look at my tank as an example....i have a well practised eye, decades of experience, and a trunkload of failures to allow me to force the issue and get away with things most cannot~
