How much rock? How long set up? I am assuming you are feeding to heavy. Most of us did/do that. Ten is not earth shattering put up the water changes to bring it down so you don't tick off the SPS.

Re: nitrates at 10 should I be worried

I think that you have reason for concern. Corals don't care much for nitrates. How often have you been doing water changes and checking your parameters? I know that when my tank is doing well, I tend to slack off a bit.

I wouldn't panic but start to take appropriate measures to get your nitrates back down. You might want to skim a bit wetter and reduce feeding somewhat. Good luck.
