| Sunshine Reefer ![]() | Re: macro? Be careful removing it. You don't want to pop the bubbles in the tank or it will spread.

| Harlequin Tuskfish | Re: macro? Yeah its bubble algae. i would recommend an emerald crab. that will do the job depending on what other livestock you have. or carefully remove with tweezers which can be a pain. careful like stated above not to pop any otherwise it will spread. if you let be it will continue to spread as well. |

| Golden Moray | Re: macro? pop them as your sucking the water out for a water change, (of couse your tube wants to be right over it) that way when you pop it, the spores get sucked out.. make sure to turn your flow off,

| Golden Moray | Re: macro? You should remove them if you want to have corals. Bubble algae can prevent corals from attaching to rock and can overtake the corals growth.

| Social Darwinism victim | Re: macro? I had a big bunch that grew fast. I think it's kinda neat lookin but WOW it duplicated fast. There's a thread on here somewhere about getting the superglue all around it, letting it set a bit and peeling the glue off with bubble algae intact. Sort of worked for me. Those bubbles are tougher to pop than they look.
