Zoanthid okay?

I'm new to the hobby and wanted to know if anybody could help me out with my zoanthid. All polyps used to be open all the time. I do have some turbo snails that have crawled all over it and knocked it over a few times, so I tried to sort of wedge it between some of my rocks to secure it (don't know if I damaged it).

Anyway, only a few of the polyps are opening up and it has been about a week. I also noticed two things that look like they could be new polyps, but again, I am brand new to the hobby and I am learning. Please help! Is my zoanthid okay and are those two things new polyps? Also, how would I be able to tell if it does die?

If you have it in too much flow, they won't really open up. These also prefer a fair amount of light.

Also, anytime you're messing around with this coral, please DO wear gloves. Don't touch your skin or anything with the gloves afterwards. Discard them. I use the inexpensive latex gloves that I buy at Wal-Mart.

The two things you circled look like sponges, pineapple sponges I think.

Re: Zoanthid okay?

Are the sponges harmless? I also forgot to mention that I recently have added an open brain, torch, devil's hand and mushroom leather. Could any of these have caused the zoa to close up? There were not very close to each other.
