Target Fed a what?

I just "target fed" a pretty pink bristle worm in my 10g tank. I had the Turkey baster out and was doing my weekly "target feeding" when I noticed this small pretty pink bristle (maybe an inch long total) waving trying to snag some food floating by. I thought why not? I slowly moved the tip loaded with mysis close to him and right as I was about to shoot one at him he must have "sensed/smelled" fresh meet and started lurching at the turkey baster. I did as normal and "eased one into the chamber and fired a single mysis round at the critter" hitting directly under it. It immediately slumped down onto it and started yanking and dragging it and within about 3 seconds it was out of sight.

How cool is that?

So tonight I target fed:

Nemo
Stripe (Neon Goby that's FAT now)
Skunk Cleaner
2 Shrooms
Sebae Anemone

and now one very luck bristle worm

Allen

When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.

Re: Target Fed a what?

I thought so!! I think they are actually beneficial critters as long as they don't bit Me and don't get big enough to really be a problem. I was digging in my fuge tonight for some good "Frag" rubble and just knew I Was gonna get stuck but unless they couldn't get through the glove I wasn't even close to getting it.

Re: Target Fed a what?

Those bristles give me the creeps! Especially after Jack's run in with them. I had a bunch of very small ones in the refugium. I was trying to use a chopstick to move them into the tank. The Koran Angel was eating them like candy.

yepp Jack, you are right. But not only in a predator tank. My little Toby has "removed" in my reef also everything.

Re: Target Fed a what?

I kinda think Bristles are pretty cool to watch in the tank but still think I wouldn't want one in mine. I like putting my hands in the tank and yes, bare handed. Now after Jacks mishap when we set ours back up I'm going to get some kitchen gloves.
Waiting for the video!

Re: Target Fed a what?

Cool. I have feed mine also. I like them. Used to have one that was about 3"-4" that lived in harmony witha pistol shimp/goby pair. I found it when I moved a rock from the sand I wanted to do some attatching to and they were all under it together.
Look forward to video.
