| Totally back ![]() | Re: Clean Up Crew (CUC) Question Assuming you have a sand bed I like Jack's suggestion. I personally like to go a little heavier on the snails and less intense on the micro bluelegs (and you will hear arguments for and against the blue legs, I like the little tiny ones that are too small to kill the larger snails, they are great detritivores/algae eaters). I would go for as many as 10-20 ceriths (depending on your bioload), another 10 astrea snails and the 10 or so turbos. Avoid the huge mexican grazers, they are intertidal and get pretty big and clumsy. I prefer the smaller black turbos. And the tiger tails are probably one of the best sand cleaners you can get. Make sure you have steady rock work though if you get one, they will burrow under rocks etc, so if the sand is stabilizing your rockwork you might want to avoid them....
