Im so siked,I was gonna buy a 125 6 footer from a fellow reefer,Then i started thinking.Im gonna get this up and running and want a bigger tank.lol
Well my sis,called me from work.She is a leasing agent for a apartment complex here in mn.she said one of the pepole hwo lived their needed to get rid of some frags.So i went over their and got some new zoo's(pics later)Well i get in the apt. and the guy has a 155 galoon bow front 8 footer,with a front starphire panel.Then on the oppisite wall is an empty 75.He is downgradeing.He said he wont except anymore offers and its going to me!$600 and i get the tank stand and canopy,sump and skimmer.Its drilled for two closed loops and the return is modded into a spray bar.I hope he throws in the lights.If not ill use my 2 hqi's and get another one!Im so siked i just cant wait.lol i was eveing dreaming about it.more realistate for corals and fish.

Any suggestions on what fish i should get. i have a small sailfin,2 dif clowns,a royal gramma,and a damsel and a six line

I know im gonna get that yellow eyed kole ive been wanting,but what other fish should i get

Congrats on the find.
With that size tank you have lots of choices for fish. I like the 8ft lenght as well but it may be hard to find lighting fixtures unless you go retro. Remember each MH covers 2ft of tank so you would need 4 to even out the tank.
Let us know some of the fish you like and we can help steer you towards or away from some of them.

ya im siked.ill prolly go retro with it!i was thinking of the yellow eyed kole!maybey a pair of black and white clowns,I really want a purple tang to,but i dont know about three tangs in one tank!

how should i switch them over?i mean ive moved my tank two times with no losses and upgraded it to a 75.But i want this to be flawless.

I allready have 4 5 gal bucketts full of sand,plus my 6 inch sand bend.I think ill use the buckets first.Take out all fish and coral and put them in a spare 55 with water and live rock from my established tank.Take out that sand rinse some of it,and use the rest to seed the rest of the sand.Put a deep rubbermaid on the sand in the tank and kinda let it overflow into the tank,Im looking for very little dust.Fill up the bowfront with all the water from the 75,Then the rest RODI saltwater.MAtch temp,param. and drip aclimate the fish and add the corals....BAMM!! were done and im enjoying my new ocean
