Another Tank? Well Sorta!

Well, my girlfriend has caught the Bug.....the reefing bug. She wants a small tank of her own. What should we set up for her. She wants something small, easy to care for, and really pretty. Well she has me to help her, so it does not have to be a super beginer tank. Also she wants something not too expensive. What should I set up for her. I have a 12 Gallon Nano that I am taking, down. How can I up grade this tank, for not too much money. Im thinking about a shroom tank with no fish. But she loves the blood red shrimp. Any suggestions?

That's what I have here on my desk. It has Zoas, GSP, Palys, and of course Xenia. It also has a Fire Shrimp in it. I upgraded the lights with a nano-tuners 3-24 kit but wish I had done more

Hey if she had to catch something that's the BEST thing for her to catch

id say a 96watt coral life PC fixture, 2 nano korillas and a skilter or aquaclear HOB mod.ed into a fuge?

i have 6 gallons more and with that light i hvae a nice SPS thats still goin strong.

so thats like 150-200 bucks + rocks and sand and shes ready to go

I have Plenty of LR and LS. I might do a 3 gallon Pico. She needs sumthin small. Would one Fire Shrimp be ok in there. Or would that be to much.

I don't think I'd put that shrimp in a 3g tank. It would be ALL shrimp with a little bit of water in it...maybe a cool small pistol shrimp or something like that.
