Well since it is found in 100 meters of water I doubt you could provide the right environment. Very cool animal though.

I look at that picture and the skeptic in me says it's a fake. I can't prove that, but to me it looks like two different sea urchins shells stacked on top of each other with the top one painted.

It would be very unusual to have a double shell like that, and the colors at that depth would have no advantage, since it's rather dark that deep.

Of course, I could be wrong.

this is two urchins stacked on top of each other. The bottom one is a sputnik sea urchin and the top one is a Coelopleurus exquisitus which is a new species just discovered. It was supposedly realized to be new when someone posted it on ebay!
