| Tridacna maxima | Re: too much flow? if a pic is worth a 100 words those must be worth 1000 yeah looks like just a bit to much. your corals might tolerate it but a nice easy current that makes them sway back and forth. an occational stronger swishing, i think would make them a little more happy.

| Watch this Ma! | Re: too much flow? I can't imagine that much flow in the corals natural environment though. But they also look very healthy and happy. Is this a new powerhead?

| Wannabe Guru ![]() | Re: too much flow? It all depends on the corals. Usually softies/LPS which are found in lagoons or deeper water don't like the strong flow but SPS, hosting Anemones, and Tridacnads like the Croceas/Maximas are exposed to strong INDIRECT flow should be fine.
