How do you SLEEP Standing up?

Sweet! It's gonna be a BLAST! Atlanta is a WILD town and I can't wait to see the Aquarium and "hear" what it is MACNA XX keeps "hinting" about. SWEET!!

I'm already saving my $$ for the "Extras".

Can we buy the raffle tickets there or ONLINE only?

Mostraffles you have to be there. We are still discussing on-line for the Fiji trip, etc.

something that struck me as odd when I got involved in reefing.....is just how ''thirsty'' reefers are.
If it were legal I would set up a booth at MACNA

We are trying to arrange for "refreshments" in the Trade Show area....

i cant afford the trip. sorry. its not in my budget. wish i could. wifes sister is outside of atlanta too...but fundage is short in the witty house since medical issues arose.

whats the deal with the hotels is it all booked up and if so whats the next option? also is thier a way to find out what the raffle prizes are?
and also is thier a way to find out about deals on flights?

The hotel may be booked up by now - you can check via our website and see if there is anything left. We have negotiated for the same rate at nearby hotels for overflow.

The raffle prizes are still being gathered and will be announced closer to the show. The only one visible right now is the trip to Fiji.

Atlanta is a hub for Delta and AirTran, so they are probably your best bets. They often run specials on their websites.

thiers still rooms depending on days but i could only get 3 days for the deal then 1 for the $400 somthing price so im gonna stay somewhere cheeper, thiers lot of other hotels with rooms left so everything should be good to go.

Why on topic...in general how much $$$$ do you spend at this? I know some people go WILD and some are more "Frugal". I was wondering just on average what all you do/buy above and beyond the obvious things like food.

Do most people BUY a bunch of stuff?

Is stuffed "inexpensive" there?

Do I need to take like a "Cooler" for live goods?

Maybe save up and buy "Stuff" there that I would buy normally like supplies and such?

Just curious as I've never BEEN to one of these and can NOT wait

many vendors have special MACNA prices if youre looking to get new equipment. Also some give free samples of thier products

...and there are quite a few frag tanks set up where you can buy some nice corals (the vendors will hold them for you until the last day).
It is a good place to meet and mingle, look at all the new products and see those that you may have only seen on the net, pick the brains of those manufactures for product details and what other products they may be working on in the future.... whew, so much to do....so little time
