Re: MACNAXX in Atlanta

How old are the kids? Kids under 10 (and maybe even older - I have to check) are free unless they go to the banquet. We have babysitting at our cost at the hotel during the banquet.

Re: MACNAXX in Atlanta

How far is the "Westin Hotel" that we're staying in from the actual Aquarium itself?

Re: MACNAXX in Atlanta

An 8 minute walk (timed it myself).

The rooms are almost sold out. We are going to have to use our overflow hotels which are next door to the Westin.

Re: MACNAXX in Atlanta

I stayed at the Omni hotel last year. Not far from the Westin and they have "splash" packages that include tickets to the GA Aquarium.

Does the banquet ticket include a chance to tour the aquarium?

Re: MACNAXX in Atlanta

Stay tuned..... You will be pleasantly surprized.

We looked at the Omni, and it is a nice hotel but the Westin gave us a much better bargain.

Re: MACNAXX in Atlanta

I was up in arms about the whole Atlanta thing but the Aquarium sold me. I think I'll call my sister and tell her I'm going to be crashing in her spare room.

Re: MACNAXX in Atlanta

So in addition to the room & the actual tickets is there anything else we NEED to buy? I mean with the " Full Registration" what else is there that's needed?

Also when I booked the room I made it clear it was my wife and I but the reservations say "1 Adult" so is that just a terminology thing or do I have to pay more for her to sleep in the room? I DO travel but work makes my reservations

Re: MACNAXX in Atlanta

The room is $119 a night regardless of if your wife is there with you.

The only other expenses are the raffle tickets, meals other than the banquet, and any sightseeing or drinking that you do.
