    Light Brown Bad Algae?

What is this in my tank, my tank has been running for 10 months now. I just got done treating red cyno. Then this started popping up. I did 2 water changes in this week already. My tank is a 29gallon I did 2 water changes 5 gallons every 2 days during the week. My tank status is --> Ammonia=0, Nitrite=0, Nitrate=10 or less, Salinity 1.023, KH 10, pH= 8.2

Anyone have ideas what can be wrong and how to treat this dirty thing?

I could be WAY off here but it looks almost like a "media" storm has occurred in your tank. Are you running a phosban or similar phosphate remover? I've seen something similar (not identical) when phosban was used and it was used with a high flow pump. It ground the media and released fine particulate into the water column that did resemble what is in those pics.

give it some though. I could be WAY off base here.

You say you just "treated" for cyano? if it was a chemical treatment I think you cyano just fueled a diatom outbreak. Steve
