My Reef Video this Morning...

Sometimes it's tempting to fill our tanks with fish. I wanted to show a little video of how you can fill your tank with movement without adding a bunch of fish.

My tank is very young, only 2.5 months old! I have only 3 small fish in my 72 gallon. One day, hopefully, it will be full of beautiful corals and no one will say "Where are all of your fish?"

Very tempting indeed. I have had to try to strike a balance in mine as I want coral and my girlfriend wants fish. But we settled on mostly small fish and hopefully not too many so that our corals can thrive as well.

Beautiful tank Melanie, hard to believe it's only been 2.5 months. You've got some great looking corals with plenty of room to grow. And the three fish you have are all front and center!

Re: My Reef Video this Morning...

Thanks guys!! Yes, there is plenty of room to grow and I'm in no hurry to add any fish. I will have only 4 or 5 smallies in the end.

Re: My Reef Video this Morning...

Nice video.
Did you ever figure out what kind of snake that was on the other video?
The red underbelly was cool looking.

When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.

Re: My Reef Video this Morning...

Very nice video. Thanks for sharing with us.

BTW, the snake in the other video is a ring-necked snake. Very common and very harmless.

Re: My Reef Video this Morning...

Hermes got sent back to the LFS. He was attacking everything and I put him in my QT but he was miserable in there with no sand to play in. It was killing me so hopefully he got a good home. I miss him every time I see a photo I took of him. He was my favorite for a long time.

Feel free to watch all the videos! There aren't too many. Plus you can get to know me better. And also laugh at me when I say "Who wants to go for a ride over and over in a baby voice!" ha ha ha ha PS My house looked like crap in the snake video. I'll have to do a new one now that my hubby has turned the lanai fabulous!
