New tank? First guess is diatom bloom. Not a big deal, Maybe increase flow decrease feeding and light period. It will pass as things stabilize.

Yeah tank is only 2 months old, I am going to try and cut back on the feeding to every other day instead of every day, what do you think?

Also what do you feed? I find flake causes a bloom for me so I only use it when I have no time to thaw the frozen I usually feed. Also you may want to thaw in RO/DI water and pour through a brine shimp net. I don't as I have a large system and I think the corals like the extra's.

Hi I feed Mysis, I usually cut the cubes in half and rinse in RO/DI water. I have a 34G so I think I may be overfeeding a little, even though I only feed once a day, what do you think?

it might help but dont count on it. at 2 months this is very normal and the first sign the tank is starting to mature. in the next few months you will be getting several algea/bac blooms, green, red ect..all will bloom a little. no worries all is well, just keep your water parameters in check, the bac/algea will go away in time.
