My bulkhead is leaking.

My bulkhead is dripping and it is really getting anoying. Any ideas on how to fix it.

Well since I am useless on plumbing I asked hubby.
He says to lower the water below the level of the bulkhead and then replace the seal with a slightly larger one.
We had to do this with one of the bulkheads for our sump since the hole was made slightly too large.

Is there any way to do it besides replacing it. Ireally dont want to ruin the tank since i dont know much about plumbing.

Just replace the seal or gasket thingey. No reason that should ruin the tank. Worst thing, you spend a couple of bucks and it doesn't work.

try putting silicone/aquarium sealant around the bulkhead, it should do the job.
I think you can get the silicone at lowes for around $5.

I tried that you can see it around the bulkhead if you look. It worked for a while then it started again but i think i will try that again. What part of NE do you live in, just curious?
