New addition Blasto Welsi

My recent purchase blasto welsi red on red. I've had it for about 2 weeks now and its doing great. Loves eating the frozen cubes I feed the tank. Just wanted to share a new pic.

Re: New addition Blasto Welsi

My not so local LFS charged me way more than I wanted to pay, but I have not been able to find it anywhere else. Any way It has about 9 large heads and 3 baby heads hidden under the others so I said WTH. I remember telling myself, if I see something I really want, get it now.

The price would be why I don't have one yet. I suppose some day I will see what I have to have at a weak moment and it will jump in the car with me.

Lynn and I know about those car jumpers! They are really terrible! Keep an eye on MrCoral.com He had some Bright Red Blastos on there really reasonable and about the time I decided to get them they were gone. When I say reasonable, I mean reasonable, when I began looking at other sites at their costs, I was kind of in shock.

I suffer from the same syndrome. I see a particular coral I want and my wallet hops out of my pocket and opens right up without glancing at the price tag.
Probably the only time I held off because of price was when Acan prices were through the roof ($600-$1000 for a small colony or even med sized frags).

Wow, $600 - $1000, I would have to hold off also. I have not seen any prices that high yet. If I did I would probably turn and walk right back out the door. HA. I would of course look around first but then I would turn and walk right out the door.

A few years back the Acans and micromussa prices were crazy. Of course the prices started going down as the were getting propagated and wholesalers started getting more and more. I'm waiting for the next in fad coral to bring those prices
