do i need a co2 diffuser

hello i have a fo tank right now.i was wondering in a reef tank do u really need a co2 diffuser or not

No CO2 needed.
Some people have CO2 tanks near there reef tank because they use a calcium reactor to supplement the Calcium and alkalinity in their aquarium.
CO2 diffusers are generally used by planted tank enthusiasts however.

so all i need is is a skimmer andof coarse the right lights...i have a fluvall canister filter right now

It depends on what you want to keep. From your other posts I gather you want to keep a fish only tank. I would suggest a decent skimmer, a couple of powerheads and the fluval might be nice to keep to run carbon etc.
What size tank do you have?
