Gee, i'm having a lot of bubble-related issues.
I took out a small rock that had some algae growing on it and that had bubbles developing on it too. The bubbles were getting bigger... at first I thought it was just from the airstone I put in, I use it when the MH are on. But some of the bubbles started looking, well, viscous. A little opaque. HOPING it's not bubble algae. What's bubble algae look like?
The MH are making the algae grow a little too much. I'm a little wary of crabs but the snails seem to have disappeared.
I've cut down to one feeding a day.

People come into our lives for a reason, a season or a lifetime. When you know which one it is, you will know what to do for that person. When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.
Heres a pic of some.
The green bubbles are the bubble algae. You need to try to remove the whole bubble without popping it. If you pop them they send spores through the tank and you get more and more.
You also want to starve it out by reducing nitrates and phosphates.

They probably were. Did you touch them? If they just floated away then they are probably just bubbles.

When they get large they almost have a silver look to them.
The only thing I know to eat them is emerald crabs, which will eat e=anything they can catch when they get larger.
